Box lintels can be used for internal or external openings with a variation of wall thicknesses. The Keystone box lintel has perforations along its length acting as a plaster key. As an optional extra Keystone box lintels can be insulated. The Keystone box lintel is designed to carry the full load of wet masonry as soon as it is installed.
Box Lintels must have a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side of the opening, bedded on mortar. Level the lintel along its length and across its width. Masonry built must be laid on a mortar bed and all perpendicular joints to be filled with mortar. Care should be taken to avoid shock loading on box lintels when used in conjunction with concrete floors or other heavy units.
Your order will be ready to collect two hours from receiving your order confirmation, please remember to bring your order confirmation as proof of order when collecting. We aim to have your order ready, however, sometimes it will be necessary to fulfil the order upon arrival. Any orders placed after 4pm will be ready to collect the following working day.
We deliver to locations across Birmingham, Midlands, South and East of England. We offer free delivery for orders over £250 + VAT, for orders under this amount there is a £30 delivery charge. We aim to deliver orders within 3-5 working days, you will be able to select your preferred delivery date at the checkout.
