The Role
We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Operative to join the team at our Longbridge branch.
The Person
Essential to the position is the ability to plan, organise and manage the workload to ensure the highest standard of service to customers. The successful candidate will have a pro-active approach to customer service, and therefore excellent communication and organisation skills are essential.
They will also need to be familiar with all aspects of stock handling and have experience selling heavyside building materials. The ability to build relationships with employees, local builders, contractors and suppliers are also key to the role.
Key Tasks
• Serving customers and picking orders
• Loading and Unloading HGV and customer's vehicles
• Awareness of new sales opportunities
• Stock rotation maintenance
• Acquiring quotes, following up and achieving orders
• Delivering a first-class customer service
• Ensure highest standard of service to the customer
